Onward Coffee's Banana Cream Top Latte 😋
If you haven't been to Onward yet, this is your sign. This lovely little shop resides right off 72 in Research Park. And it happens to be right next to my apartment! I love to break up my day by taking a little walk over, and right now, I'm obsessed with this Spring drink. The sweet, foamy banana cream pairs so well with the maple latte base. It's an absolute treat.
Brown's Farm U-Pick Strawberries 🍓
It’s strawberry season! My favorite way to get these fresh berries it to make an afternoon out of it at a U-Pick farm. This week, Jacob and I went to Brown Farms in New Market, AL. They have a lovely farm and it’s so fun to enjoy a pretty spring day exploring the rows of ripe berries. You just can’t beat a fresh local strawberry.
Pottery Painting @ Bisque 🎨
For my birthday in March, we went on a little date night to paint pottery at Bisque by The Vessel in Stovehouse! If you’re looking for a fun activity for a date or group hang, this is a great local option. The team walks you through everything you need to know and they have a wide selection of pieces to choose from so you can leave with something you love.

Walmart Great Value's Rebrand
You probably recognize Walmart's private label "Great Value," but you've never seen it like this! Last month, Walmart unveiled a redesign of the logo and package design for all of their Great Value products.
Personally, I love the change. Using fun illustrations, bold color, and sleek photography, the redesign not only brings the brand into the 21st century, but creates a simpler look for clearer communication.
It's also a great example of refreshing a brand design – making improvements and altering the overall look without losing the core elements that create brand recognition. Check out the before and after to see how tweaking the logo, shifting the fonts and colors, and rethinking the graphic style totally changes what you think about the product. I don't know about you, but I'm much more likely to grab Great Value off the shelf now.
