PROJECT OVERVIEW
Walker’s has been a community destination for ready-made meals, specialty foods, and quality home goods for 10 years. As the business celebrated this milestone and moved into the next era, they brought me in to update the logo and design a visual system that represented the quality of the business.
In this project, it was important to stay true to the heart of the already beloved brand. I set out to create something new that works well and looks beautiful, while still connecting with the dedicated crowd of regulars picking up their weeknight dinners, shopping wedding registries and gathering for wine nights. To create this “neighborly” feeling, I used a soft green and blue palette, custom typography, and a hand-painted pattern. The result is a brand that feels fresh and timeless all at the same time.

Why REBRAND?
THE STRATEGY BEHIND THE CHANGE
The original logo was causing misconceptions around the store. With "Market" being emphasized, the bright great, and round mark that resembled Publix, Walker's was being confused as a grocery store, not a boutique gift shop.
For the redesign, I kept the general format of the primary logo and a green shade to maintain recognizability, while shifting the visual identity to connect more with what they actually offer.
